British Summer Time (a.k.a. Daylight Savings Time) came to an end today.
Across the European Union, everyone moved their clocks back one hour returning to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), Western European Standard Time.
Our friends and family in the U.S. don't return to Standard Time until November 1, 2009. For the next week, we are an hour closer to U.S. time.
Tomorrow morning the sun will rise here in Aberdeen at 7:06 am, and set at 4:37 pm.
Here come short days and long nights ... in other words, winter!
