Starting a Women's Bible Study

For months now I have been thinking about starting a Women's Bible Study. I have talked to several women who are new to Princeton who have had not found a place to connect with each other. It was a real struggle for me to overcome my fear and self doubt, but I knew God was telling me to just do it. So, with the help and encouragement of a good friend, I finally stopped procrastinating.

Last night was the first meeting of our new Bible study. I was a little nervous that it would end up just myself and the girl who helped start it. However, there turned out to be five of us at the study. It was a real blessing to see that I was not the only one who has struggled to connect here.

We are going to do an inductive study of the book of Colossians. It is a short enough book that we should be able to finish before the end of the school year. We will be talking more about where this group will go from there.

I was so encouraged as each woman shared how God had brought them to this group. I am excited to see what God has in store for us together over the next few months.
